馬祖戰地政務時期，因通訊運輸不便，書信成為居民與軍人對外聯繫的重要管道，既承載個人記憶也投射出集體歷史。書信計畫以軍旅信件與家書為核心，探索地緣政治與離散經驗下，個人如何透過書寫維繫情感與生命意志。 於南竿53據點空間，邀請兩組藝術家，將徵集而來之書信以創作轉譯。

日本藝術家狩野朋子與中坪多恵子的《馬祖島來信》於營舍與戶外空間，結合軍旅書信展示與自然景觀，邀請觀眾透過閱讀與書寫穿越時空，將個人情感與馬祖歷史相連，重溫書信時光，喚醒戰地記憶與情感共鳴。張致中的《家書》位於琴碉堡地下一樓，以感濕油墨與滴水裝置呈現書信記憶的浮現與隱沒，記錄離散與重聚軌跡。 同時，為了重現馬祖過去郵政代辦系統，設計《臨時郵政代辦所》移動裝置和郵遞服務，移動至各島嶼。觀眾可書寫寄送，透過代寄服務重現戰地郵務情境。

"Letters Through the Wormhole" uses letters as vessels that traverse personal emotions and historical memory, constructing a poetic passage through time and space. The wormhole as a metaphor is not only a scientific concept of spacetime tunnels, but also an imaginative link between feelings and remembrance. Collecting military and family correspondences through field research, researchers gather these emotional specimens suspended in time. They cumulate personal experiences into shared resonances, reflecting the transformation of Matsu from a humble fishing settlement to a militarized island determined by geopolitical forces, preserving the voices of distant yearning and reunion. The work transforms these letters into a participatory sensory landscape, weaving together individual memories and collective history, connect the past and the present, and draw Matsu closer to Taiwan. Through this passage—like stepping into a fold in time, viewers are invited to reencounter forgotten sentiments and lingering thoughts, to be picked up by a listener in the present.
